August 6. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Gladstone, in reply to a question, said that the views of the Government in connection with Egypt had not changed. The outbreak of cholera has delayed tho stejxs proposed for the reorganisation of the country, Jlrid prevented the hope being entertained of the possibility of an parly withdrawal of the British troops now in occupation.
