SHAREMARKET,

Since my last report there has been some movement in tho sharo market, and a reference to quotations Avill show a slight improvement in prices. Tho recent discovery of payable stone in the Golden CroAvn Company's mine at Terawhiti haa had the effect of creating a good deal of enquiry for that description of scrip ; and what for many years has been regarded as a hopeless dream has now the appearance of realisation. From 3s Gd the Golden Crotvns have sprung to 13s, and other mining scrip at Terawhiti has more or less obtained an advance. I have received the prospectus of the Aniseed Valley Coppor Promoters' Company (limited), together with samp of the oro. I shall publish the in tho course of tho week. Tho total quantity of Avhcat afloat for Great Britain is 1,770,000 quarters, being 50,000 quarters less than last Aveek. Australian tallow, best beef 41s, and best mutton 42s 6d.
