The Union Steamship Company's s.s. "VYiirarapa's outward passengers and mails ■were transhipped by the Sir Donald shortly after 2 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, the steamer getting away for Southern ports and Melbourne at 3 p.m. Tho steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 8 o'clock on Saturday night, bringing four passengers. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Waihora, Captain Edie, arrived in the roadstead from Melbourne via Southern ports and Wellington about 1.30 p.m. on Saturday. Tho s.s. Sir Donald tendered her for passengers and mails, and the ketch Admiral lightered tho cargo. Tho following is a report of the Waihora's passage :— Left Melbourne on June 20th, and arrived at the Bluif on the 25th, Dunedin on the 26th, Lyttelton on the 28th, and Wellington on the 29th ; left the wharf the same day at 7.30 p.m., and arrived hero as given above. Experienced fine weather along the coast. Tho outward passengers were taken off at 4 p.m., tho Waihora steaming for Auckland at 5 p.m. The three-masted schooner Mary Wadley, Captain Moore, dropped anchor in the bay early yesterday afternoon, after a fine weather passage of twelve days from Newcastle, New South Wales. She brings a cargo of coal consigned to her owner, Mr J. H. Vautier. She was towed inside this morning by tho Sir Donald and moored at the breastwork, where she has commenced to dischargo her cargo. The p.s. Manaia, Capt. Baxter, is to get away for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-morrow night. The steamer Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, from Wellington via the coast, arrived here yesterday forenoon, and took up her berth at the breastwork, where she is discharging her cargo to-day, which is a large one, consisting principally of transhipment goods out of the ships Estrella, Dora Ann, and Cumbria from London, and tho Parnell from New York. Tho Kiwi will load up this afternoon and to-morrow morning with wool, tallow, meats, and other good, and at 4 o'clock to-morrow afternoon is announced to steam for Wellington. The steamer Sir Donald is to leave for Waimarama to-morrow night. Mr J. H. Vautier's three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain BaJle, arrived in tho roadstead at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, after a passage of ten days from Newcastle, N.S.W. She brings a cargo of coal con- | signed to her owner, part of which is being lightered to-day by the ketch Three Brothers, preparatory to her being brought inside. The Union Company's s s. Tairaroa, Capt. Hansby, from Dunedin and Lyttelton, was to have left Wellington at 4 p.m. this day, and should be in our roadstead by midday to-morrow. Tho steamer Sir Donald will tender her for mails, passengers, and cargo, and at 4 p.m. the same day she is announced to steam for Gisborne and Auckland. [by telegraph.] Auckland, This day. Arrived, East Lothian, ship, 105 days out from London. Ciiristciiurch, This day. Tho lonic, which arrived yesterday from Dunedin, was visited by a large number of sightseers. She will take in about 3000 carcases of sheep here. The Gatcside, barque, 696 tons, Capt. Maitland, from London, arrived yesterday, 106 days out.
