MELBOURNE.
Friday. A fatal accident occurred at the Garden Gully mine at Sandhurst this afternoon. Two men were ascending the shaft, when the bucket jerked, and both men were thrown out and fell to the bottom of the shaft, a distance of 170 feet. Both bodies were terribly mutilated.
