THE GOVERNOR AT AUCKLAND.
Auckland, This day. The Governor visited the Onchunga iron works yesterday and watched the process of making wrought-iron from the Manukau sand. Ho expressed his pleasure at seeing so important au industry established in Now Zealand. In the experiment performed Waikato coal was used instead of charcoal, and it was so successful that coal will be used in future. His Excellency leaA'es for the Waikato on Wednesday.
