THE SYDNEY LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RESCIND A MOTION OF CENSURE.
SYDNEY.
This day. Messrs Augustus Morris and George Eankeu, the Commissioners appointed to enquire into the working , of the land laws of New South Wales have made their report to the Government. It strongly condemns the effect of the existing . Land Acts. The Legislative Assembly has passed a motion rescinding , the resolution of the Bth November, 1881, censuring Mr Baker, late Minister of Mines, for his connection with the Melbourne Creek copper mine award.
