The acting agent of tlie New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, has received from their London office of the company the folloAving telegram, under date the 13th instant; —Tlie talloAv market is firm, and there, is a good Continental demand for loav er and medium sorts. Fine qualities are not in demand. Mutton is quoted at 45s Gd ; and beef at i-JS Gd per CAA*t.

Consols remain at 102;
New Zealand securities arc quoted at the following prices:—Five per cent 10-10 loan, 107.',; five per cent 188!) loan, 10 6 ; four niid'a half per cent 1870-1901 loan, 102' ; four per cent inscribed stock, 102-. Colonial breadstuff's continue dull at last quotations. Adchiidc wheat, ex-warehouse, s')s : New Zealand wheat, ex-warehouse, 44s to 4S.s: Adelaide flour, ex-warohcuse, :j Is. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,210.000 quarters, 140,000 quarters less than last week.
Australian tallow remains firm at -lis for best beef, and -10s for best mutton.

The New Zealand five per cent 10-10 loan has to-day advanced .1, and is now at 10S \.
There aro no changes to report in other securities or in colonial produce.
