THE Napier Harbor Board, by virtue of all powers and authorities vested in them by '-The Harbors Act, 1878," do hereby make the following Bye-laws for the Port of Napier, and do hereby repeal all former Regulations (or any part or parts thereof) in anywise inconsistent Avith the Bye-laavs hereby made. c.uiu-o SHEDS. I.—Cargo from any A-essel limy be de- •-• posited in the sheds during wet Aveather, or when the business stores are closed, upon application being made to the wharfinger by the agents of the vessel. 2.— -All goods deposited in the sheds to bo removed Avithiu twelve Avorking hours after the Aveather has, in the opinion of the Avharfinger, sufficiently moderated to allow of the removal of such goods, or after the business stores are open. A fee of three shillings per ton per diem -will be charged upon all goods left iv the sheds after such period. 3. —The agent of the A-essel to have possession of the keys of the shed during the time the goods arc stored therein, and to be responsible for the safe custody of such goods, and for any fees that arc due or may become due thereon to the Napier Harbor Board. 4. —The Napier Harbor Board does not hold itself responsible for the safety of any goods deposited in the Cargo sheds." EXAMINATION SHEDS. All goods remaining in tho examination sheds beyond forty-eight hours will be charged for at the folloAving rates.
