All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed to the Secretary, and left at the Criterion Hotel, Napier, not later than 8 p.m. on the several specified dates. The rides and Aveights of the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Avill be strictly adhered to. Five per cent, Avill be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
