The Catholics of AVellington have decided to present tho following address to Bishop Moran:—"AA r e, the Catholic laity of the city of AVellington and surrounding district, have Avatched with pleasure the untiring efforts you have made in the interest of Christian education. AA r e also vieAV Avith satisfaction the college and numerous convents and schools which you have established since your arrival in this country. We admire the candor, the courage, and the ability Avhich you haA-o always displayed in the ptdpit, in tho Press, aud above all in your recent action in advocating our claims before the South Dimcdiu electors. AYe thank God, who
takes an account of small as well as great things, that he has raised you up to defend us and preside over a portion of His Church in this land. AA r e therefore, one and all, rich and poor, have unanimously resolved to support you morally and constitutionally iv your endeavors to obtain an equitable adjustment of our claims on the GoA-emment of this colony in regpai'd to tho education system.
