A special general meeting of the members of tho AVorking Men's Club will bo held this evening. Tho brethren of Court Captain Cook, A.0.F., are requested to meet at the Foresters' Hall, Dickens street, at 2.15 p.m. to-morrow to attend the funeral of late Brother Francis. The Supreme Court sits in bankruptcy at the Court House on Monday at 2 p.m., Avhen Harvey Sladen, a bankrupt, will make application for an order of discharge, and application will also be made for a declaration of the complete exocution of the deed of arrangement filed for the benefit of the creditors of J. J. Browne, of Ormondville, an arranging debtor. Mr Maccabe makes his first appearance in Napier at tho Theatre Royal on Monday eA-ening iv his entertainment "Begone Dull Care." Mr T. R. Cooper invites tenders for the Avork of remoA'ing, re-erecting, and additions to the residence of Mr Newton. Mr P. F. Colledge has purchased Mr AVall's jewellery business, and hopes to merit a continuance of the patronage bcstoAved on his predecessor. Mr J. A. Rearden is prepared to receive a feAv more pupil boarders and day scholars at the Napier Commercial Academy. Mr AY. Robertson informs the public of Hastings and surrounding districts that he has commenced business in Hastings as horse shoer and general blacksmith, and hopes to merit a share of patronage. In our supplement to-day Mr Rathbone, of AVaipaAva, announces a clearing sale of general goods at 20 per cent, discount for cash, aud special hues at half price. Hoff's extract of malt, a digestive assistant, can be obtained from Mr AVoods, chemist, at the Apothecaries Hall.
