A meeting Avas held last evening in the school-room to take steps to form a Cheese and Bacon Manufactory Company, at Avhich there Avere about 170 persons present. themselves. The shares are proposed to be £1 each. The following committee to make preliminary arrangements was appointed to report to an adjourned meeting on the 13th March, namely, Messrs Lloyd, Thomas, Moore, Carlile, Fountaine, Murray, Guillard, and Campbell, and at the first committee meeting held immediately afterwards the names of Messrs Peebles and Chamier were added.
