SUCCESSFUL FLOATING OF THE NEW ZEALAND LOAN.
THE VICTORIAN LOAN. CETEWAYO'S ARRIVAL AT ZULULAND. LONDON. January 11. The tenders for the £1,000,000 four per cent, loan for New Zealand were opened today. The total amount offered was found to 'be £1,520,000, at prices ranging from the minimum of CIS-A to 101. Tenders at OS and niiie-sixtcenths'will receive allotment to the extent of 78 per cent,, and tenders above 98 nine-sixteenths will receive allotment in full. It is understood that further applications have been received for a small amount of the unallotted balance of the Victorian loan. The English, Scottish and Australian Chartered Bank has declared a dividend of 4.J per cent, for the past half-year, and carried £10,000 to the reserve fund.
