PORT AHURIRI. ARRIVALS. December. 28—Boojuin, s.s., from Wairoa. Passenger —Mr E. Plntforcl. 28 —Sir Donald, s.s., from Tong'oio and Waihua. Passenger—Mr James Hassell. 29 —Maori, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers —Messrs Elvrin, Carr, G. Cummings, McMurray, Saeffer, and four natives. 29 —Anthons, brigantine, from Greymouth. ♦ The Union Company's launch Boojum returned from Wairoa yesterday afternoon. The s.s. Sir Donald returned from Waihua and Tongoio last night, with a load of wool. Ttic steamer Maori, Capt. Anderson, returned from Wairoa at 1 o'clock this morning, with a full load of wool, and a number of passengers. She is to leave at 12 o'clock to-night for Mohaka. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Te Anau, which left Auckland at 12 o'clock yesterday, brings 25 tons of cargo for this port, and will arrive by about daylight tomorrow morning. The outward Southern and Melbourne passengers will be taken out at 11.30 a.m., the steamer taking her departure shortly afterwards. The brigantine Anthons arrived in the roadstead this morning from Greymouth, after a nine days passage, with a cargo of coal for the New Zealand Railways Department, She will probably be berthed inside by the pilot at about 5 o'clock tin's evening. The New Zealand Shipping Company's ship Waikato, Captain Sutherland," is now full, and will be* clearing at the Custom House this afternoon for London. She expects to sail to-morrow morning. The Union Steamship Company's s. s. Wairarapa left Dunedin yesterday, is leaving Lyttelton to-day, and Wellington to-morrow, and should arrive here on Sunday morning. Her advertised time for steaming northwards is 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon. The steamer Kiwi, Captain Campbell, was to have left Wellington at 5 o'clock last night, and will arrive here to-night or early to-morrow morning. She is announced to .team again for Wellington at 5 o'clock the samo evening. The p.s. Manaia is announced to steam for Wairoa at 12 o'clock to-morrow night, taking passengers at excursion rates.
