The closing service of Mrs Harnpson's mission will be held in the Theatre Rojal this evening at 7.30, and to-morrow evening a farewell service Avill be given in tbe Theatre. The Rifle Volunteers fire for the district prizes at tho rifle range at 5.30 a.m. tomorrow. Mr Lyndon will sell ten cases of pineapples at 11 a.m. to-morrow. Messrs Banner and Liddle sell household furniture and effects, bananas, &c, by auction at their rooms to-morrow at 11 a.m. Mr Monteith will sell by auction tomorrow, at 1 p.m., at the Horse Bazaar, without reserve, a magnificent assortment of Japanese curios. Tho time for receiving tenders for the erection of 25 chains of fencing at Meanee for Mr R. Neagle expires at noon to-morrow. Acceptances for the Christmas Handicap, Hurdle Handicap, and Hastings Handicap, and entries for the Maiden Plate, to be run at the H.B. Jockey Club's Boxing Day meeting, must he in the hands of the secretary, Mr Luckie, at the Criterion Hotel, by 8 o'clock to-morrow evening. Mr Ryan has received instructions from Mr J. McMaster to sell by auction on Saturday next, on the premises adjoining Holt's timber yard, the whole of his stock of drapery, clothing, kc. Messrs Hoadley, Lyon and Co. sell the privileges of the Jockey Club's Boxing Day meeting at the Criterion Hotel on Tuesday, December 26. Two items are added to the programme of the Caledonian sports to take place at Petane on New Year's Day. Mr Hay will act as starter, and nominations may be left at the Herald office, Napier. Messrs D. Gray and Co. invite tenders for carting about 200 tons of coal from the Napier railway station to their yards at per ton. Mr Brooking has the family residence now occupied by Mr J. B.
