[by cable.] London, December 7. Consols have declined one-eighth to 99f. The bank rate remains at 5, and the market rate at 3£ per cent. The total reserve in notes and bullion at the Bank of England remains at 11,000,000. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is forty per cent. There are no changes to report in Colonial breadstuffs and tallow. Sydney, December 8. New Zealand wheat remains at 4/3 ; New Zealand oats have advanced to 3/6, and maize has risen to 5/9 ; sugar, Company's No. 1 pieces, per ton, £35. Adelaide, December 9. Wheat is firm at 4/6 ; town flour is quoted at £12. Freights, sailing, to the United Kingdom from A dekide are 40/-; freight for wool, greasy and scoursed gd.
