Hoggard v. Smith and Walker.—Adjourned case. Mr Lee applied to have the case further adjourned, as be believed E would now be settled. Adjourned ordingly to January 16th. Vautier v. J. T. Steele.— Claim £1 Is. Judgment for plaintiff by default, for amount, with costs 7s. Same v. O'Sbannassy.—Claim £3 7s 3d. Judgment for plaintiff for amount, with costs 7s.
Same v. Patrick Hall.—Claim £7 18a 2d. Judgment for plaintiff for amount, with costs 11s. Defendant agreed to commence payment of the debt in the first week of January
Williams v. Cooper.—Claim £3 for potatoes sold. Mr Laecelles for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount, with costs 3s, plaintiffs travelling expenses 3s 6d, and solicitor's fee £1 Is.
Bowes v. Jensen.—Claim £2 15s SJ. Mr Lee for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount, with coats 7s, expenses of one witness Bs, and Bolicitor's fee £1 Is.
Same v. "Ware.—Claim £7 IBg 6d. Mr Lee for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount claimed, with costs 11s, expenses of witness ss, and and solicitors fee £1 Is.
Same v. McCallum.—Claim £3 2s Bd. Judgment for plaintiff, by default, for amount claimed, with costs Bs, and Bolicitor's fee £1 Is. Blytbe and Co., v. Miller.—Claim £15 12s 4d, dishonored promissory note.
Adjourned by the Court for one week to consider the legal point as to the validity -vpi the document. i Bowea v. O'Shannassy.—Claim £27 15s. Mr Lee for the plaintiff. Defendant disputed the greater portion of the items charged, alleging they had been paid for. After hearing evidence His Worsbip gave judgment for the plaintiff for £16 4s 56, with costs 28s, witness's expenses 93, and counsel's fee £1 Is.
