AUCKLAND.
December 5. Mr Mair's remains have been recovered in the Islands, and are to be brought to New Zealand. The Government intend laying a township at Kawhia harbor early next month on a piece of land purchased two years ago by the Government. It is also intended to buoy the harbor, so that it may be used as a harbor of refuge.
