Auckland v. Ashburton.

A match between the Auckland eleven and an Ashburton fifteen was played here yesterday. It was decided on the first innings. Auckland played until time was called,.and won with the loss of only one wicket. The local team were very unfortunate, four of their best bats not contributing to the score. The local team scored 124, and the Aucklanders put together 154. Of the latter Robinson was caught after scoring 20, Bartou scored 68, and Arneil 60. There were gix extras.
