In the Appeal Court this morning the case of Connor v. Mackay (Dunedin) was concluded, judgement being reserved. Argument on the points reserved by Judge Richmond in the conspiracy case of Adams was commenced. Mr Forwood, who took over the case from Mr Ollivier, appeared in support of the conviction quashed, and Messrs A. Shaw and Gully supported the conviction.
