The s.s. Sir Dotiald, Capt. J. Quinlan, returned from Blackhead at 10 o'clock last night, with 120 hales of wool, which she transhipped to the barque Langstone this morning. She is to leave again to-night for Mangakuri for a load of wool. The steamer Oreti, Capt. Campbell, took in a small quantity of cargo yesterday, and left during the afternoon for Grisborne and Auckland.

The euttDr Lizzie sailed for Auckland at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, taking a part cargo of maize shipped by Mr John Orr. The steamer Fairy, Captain Campbell, arrived from the coast at an early hour this morning, with 90 bales of wool, which she transhipped to the barque Norman McLeod iater on. She will probably get away again to-night for another load. The Union Company's s.s. Southern Cross, Captain Bernech, is due here to-morrow morning from Northern ports. She will discharge her inward cargo at the cattle •wharf, and ship a cargo of cattle during the day, and at 4 o'clock the same afternoon is announced to steam far Dunedin direct.

The steamer Kiwi, Capt. Campbell, is expected to arrive here to-morrow morning from Wellington via the coast. She will discharge her cargo at the breastwork during the morning, and at 3 o'clock is advertised to sail again for Wellington. The ketch Three Brothers is to leave for Waimarama to-night for a load of wool, under tow of the Sir Donald, and will return to-morrow night.
