The winner of any handicap after the declaration of weights, of the value of £100, to carry 71b penalty, of £50 to carry 51b penalty. MAIDEN PLATE, of 25 soys; 1_ miles ; weight for age; entrance, £2 10s ; for all horses that have never won 10 soys or over at time of entry, hack races excepted. Any horse winning £25 after time of entry to carry 71b penalty. RIILWAY HANDICAP, of 40 soys; distance 1 mile ; the winner of the W.C.R.O. Hardicap to carry 71b penalty; nomination, 2 soys; acceptance, 2 soys. HACK RACE, of 10 aovs; distance, 1 mile; catch weights ; post entrance, 1 soy. CONSOLATION RACE, of 10 soys.; 1 mile ; for all beaten horses, hacks excepted; post entrance 1 soy. RULES. No person allowed to enter a horse unless he is a subscriber of at least one guinea to the Club. All disputes, claims, or objections to be decided by a majority of the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, whose decision shall be final. All protests to be accompanied with a deposit of two guineas, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. Three horses to start for each race or only half the money will ba given. " Hack ' shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race. Nominations for the Maiden Plate (with ages of horses) Handicap Hurdle Race, W.C.R.C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, must be left with tho Secretary at Kaikora not later than 8 p. m. on the 9th December. Weights will appear on the 15th December; Acceptances for the Handicap Hui die Race, W.C. R,C. Handicap, and the Railway Handicap, accompanied with the necessary amount in cash, and colors of riders, must be left with the Secretary, not later than 8 pm, on the 23rd December. Five per cent, deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. All races run under the H.B. Jockey Club Rules and weights.
