INVERCARGILL.
November 18. A few days ago a settler living at Orepuki named John Stewart left that place for Riverton, and has not since been heard of. He was last seen on the bridge over the Oporina river, and as it was feared he had fallen in search parties went out, with the result that his body was found to-day a short distance below the bridge.
