OAMARU RACES.

The weather yesterday was glorious for the races, and there was a fair attendance. MAIDEN PLATE, Of 40 soys., 1_ miles. Mokarakara 1 Aurora 2 Amy 3 Eight started. Won easily by a leDgth. OAMARU HANDICAP, Of 120 soys., l_ miles. Tasraan 1 Gitana 2 Adamant 3 Hilda was the only other starter, and was the favorite. A grand race. Won by a bare length. Adamant was three and a half-lengths behind the second horse.
