Loxdon, November 6. Consols have further advanced onequarter, and are quoted to-day at 102f. New Zealand securities remain at last quotations. The market rate of discount has advanced to 3f per cent; bank rate, 5. Colonial bi-eadsluffs are unchanged afc 49/- for Adelaide wheat, ex-store, and 43/----to 46/- for New Zealand ditto ; Adelaide flour, ex-store, 33/6. Australian tallow, best beef 43/-, and best mutton 44/-.
Melbourne, November 7,
Messrs C. S. Ross and Co., of this city, report a sale of kauri pine, ex Speedwell, to-day. Hewn logs realised an average of 12/6 per 100 feet super. The market Jis -weaker than at this time last season.
