In consequence of heavy rain no work was done on tbe racecourse thia morning. Betting is very quiet, and previous quotations are unaltered. At the inquest on the body of the man Perry, who was killed in an affray at Hororata, a verdict was returned exonerating Trueman Jones (not Hobbs as previously telegraped) from blame. The evidence showed that Perry was in an unhealthy condition aud excited.
