Bothwell has taken three First and two Second Prizes in Canterbury and Wanganui. His sire Glenroy has taken twenty First Prizes and the Gold Medal at the Christchurch Show. Darling won as a yearling—first prices at Ayf ( Glasgow, Hamilton, and Highland Society s at Aberdeen, As a two-year-old won first prize at Dumfries J as a three-year-old first prize at Ayr, Hamilton, and Highland Societys at Perth; as a four-year-old, first prize at Hamilton and Glasgow J Cup at Newcastle as a five-year-old, first prifce at Glasgow ; eecond prize at Stirling; Highland So* ciety s Cup at Newcastle, and 60 guineas for the best mare in the yard. As a six-year-old, first price at Glasgow and Stirling. Her sire Prince Albert was a noted Stallion. Her dam Old Darling by Samson won as a three-year-old firet prize at the Highland Society s Show at Stirling. As a four-year-old, first prize it the Highland So. ciety S Show at Inverness; and first prise at Ayr, She was also the dam of Prince of Wales, Priace Arthur and of two other colts, sold as yearlings at 200 guineas each. Robin Adair will serve a limited number of mares this season, and will stand at Puketapu, where good paddocks are provided. One month s grass free if terwards 3s per week.
