COMPETITION. TO CIVIL ENGINEERS and OTHERS. THE HARBOR BOARD OP NAPIER, HAWKE'S BAY, hereby call for Designs for a Harbor to be Constructed at the Port of Napier. Such Designs to be in accordance with conditions which will be supplied on application. A premium of five hundred pounds will be given for the Design which is selected and approved by the Judges, who will be Engineers of good standing. Plans of the present Harbor, the Roadstead, and Bay, which have been prepared for the purpose, and which will be accompanied with all necessary data, will be supplied on application to the Engineer to the ' Board at Napier.
