MELBOURNE. October 24. Serious floods have occurred at Burregurra, on the river of that name, eightyfour miles S.W. of Melbourne. Three persons have been drowned by the inundation of their houses. At the Police Court to-day Mr William Hill, manager of the Colonial Bank of Australia at Reedy Creek, was committed for trial on the charge of being concerned in the robbery which was committed at that branch on the 12th August last. October 25. Hill, who stands committed for trial for the robbery at the Reedy Creelbranch of the Colonial Bank, has been released on bail.
