An emergency convocation of the Victoria Chapter of Koyal Arch Masons will be holclen in the Masonic Hall, Munroe-street, this evening at 7.30, The Order of Shepherds holds its monthly meeting; at 8 o'clock to-night. Mr Ryan -will sell by auction at his mart to-morrow at ll a.m., Canterbury and localcured hams and bacon, fowl wheat, onions, &c. Messrs Monteith and Co.'c weekly stock and produce sale takes place at the Horse

Bazaar to-morrow at 1.30 p.m. They will also sell, under instructions from Mr C. Palmer, the draught entire Campsie. A special train for the Fancy Fair will leave Hastings on Tuesday evening at 6.15, returning at 10 p.m. The Union Steam Shipping Company want the owner of a black sheep dog which strayed on board the steamer Arawata on the 2nd September. Messrs Newton and Co.'s stock of drapery, clothing, boots, groceries, wines and spirits, &c, is now complete, and cannot be equalled elsewhere. Chin Kee opens a fancy bazaar in the shop adjoining Brett's confectionery establishment to-morrow with a stock of Chinese and Japanese goods. A visit is solicited. Mr T. R. Spiller wants it known that he has opened the shop lately occupied by Mrs Miles, and will always have a supply of refreshments, summer drinks, fruit, and vegetables on hand. Woods' ti-ico saron fluid is a valuable preparation for increasing the growth of the hair. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted" column.
