LONDON.
October 17. The Times to-day states tbat,unless the Egyptian Government agrees to accord Arabi a fair trial, and allow him the services of English counsel, the British Government will demand that Arabi should be handed over to the custody of tbe British authorities in Egypt. A portion of the cargo per Chimborazo shipped at Melbourne, consisting of 1893 carcases of sheep, has been examined and found to be in excellent condition. The Sydney portion (2700 carcases) has not yet been opened up.
