DEPARTURES.
October. 13 —Fairy, s.s., for the coast. « The cutter Lizzie, Captain J. McGerney, arrived Lore yesterday forenoon from Mercury Bay, and was berthed at the breastwork at 2 o'clock, where she is discharging her cargo of timber to-day. The three-masted schooner Frank Guy, Cnplain J. P. Bnlle, arrived at the anchorage at about 3.30 pm. yesterday from Greymouth, and was brought inside by the pilot at 8 o'clock this morning. She brings a en r_o of coal for her owner, Mr J. S. Vautier.
'I he s.s. Sir Donald returned from Wnihua hist evening, having landed her cargo successfully. Tho s.s. Kiwi is telegraphed as having left Castle Point at II o'clock ypsterday morning, but, as she has not arrived, sho is probably arailing herself of the fine weather now prevailing to land cnr«o ot Cape Turnagain. Her advertised time of departure has been extended until 6 p.m. to-morrow.
The Union Company's s.s. Manapouri, Capt. Logan, is to leave Wellington this afternoon, and may be expected to-morrow morning. She is announced to leave here for Northern ports and Sydney at 4 o'clock to-morrow afternoon.
The steamer Maori is to leave for Wairoa to-m'cht at 10 o'clock, with a number of passengers and a good cargo.
The Union Company's s.s. Wairarapa, Captain Chatfield, left Auckland at 12.30 p.m. yesterday, and is due here at daylight to-morrow morning She brings no cargo for this port. The outward passengers will leave the wharf at this port at 11.30 a.m.
The steamer Fairy, Captain Campbell, left for Pourerere last night wtth station stores.
The p.s. Mariaia. Captain Baxter, returned from Wairoa at 12.15 p.m. to-day, bringing several passengprs, 100 sacks of maize, and a quantity of skins and hides. She will probably leave again for the same place on Monday night.
'lhe s.s. foil them Cross, Captain Berneck, ]eft Auckland at 6 o'clock last night, with 90 tons of cargo and two horses for this port, and may be looked for on Sunday. She is announced to sail again for Gisborne and Auckland at 3 p.m. on Monday.
The s.s. Boojum is advertised to steam for Wairoa at noou on Tuesday.
