October 13.
A man named Lewis Jenkins was found drowned in the river Heathcote this morning. It is supposed that he had been drinking. A two-roomed cottage in Olwin's road was destroyed by fire last nigbt. The insurance amounts to £100. Clothes left to dry in front of the fire had ignited and caused the fire.
