PUNCH ROWING PRIZES.

(by cable.) Sydney, October 7. In the concluding heat for the Punch rowing prizes to-day the results were as , follows :—Rush, 1; Beach, 2 ; Laycock, 3; Trickett, 4. Rush won by a length and a half, Beach beating Laycock by a couple of lengths. TriGkett was last nearlj the whole of the way. The race took place under favorable circumstances, the river being smooth. It is estimated that fully 20,000 persons witnessed the race.
