Agricultural Show. HAWKE'S BAY AGRICULTURAL akd PASTORAL SOCIETY'S. RAND ANNUAL SHOW, Will be held at the SHOW GROUNDS, HASTINGS, ON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY, 4th and sth October, 1882, When upwards of £600 will be offered In Prizes. Visitors by Train will be landed on the Show Grounds Gates open to to the public after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 4th October. Price of Admission, 5s ; and on Thursday, sth, from 9 to 12 ; admission, 2s 6d ; after that time, Is ; Cards to include both days, 5s each; Admission to Grand Stand, 2s 6d; Second Stand, Is Carriages—Admission, ss; horsemen, 2s 6d; horsemen and occupants of carriages also pay the ordinary charges for admission The Horae Parade will take place in front of the Grand Stand at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The Trotting Match will take place at 3 p.m. Distance twice round the Course. All protests must be accompanied by a deposit of £2, which will be forfeited to the fund if the protest ' be considered frivolous. 5 per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes.
