DEPARTURES
September. 27—Boojum, s.s., for Wairoa. Passengers —Captain Preece, R.nl, Dr. Simcox, Messrs John Irvine, Nat Kettle, and eight others.
The p.s. Marmia, Captnin Baxter, crossed the Wairoa bar at 5.10 p.m. yesterday, and arrived here at 10 o'clock last night, bringing several passengers, and 260 sacks of maize to various consignees. She is to leave again for the same place at 9 o'clock on Friday moi'ning. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Boojum, Captain Maloney, steamed fo* Wairoa at 9.15 a.m. this day, taking twelve passengers. The steamer Maori, Captain Andereon, left Wairoa at 3.20 p.m. yesterday ; crossed the bar at 4.15 p.m., and arrived here shortly after 8 o'clock, bringing one Maori and 160 sacks of maize. She steams for the same place again at 11 o'clock to-night. The steamer < 'reti, Captain Helander, is expected to arrive here on Saturday next from Gisborne and Auckland.
