Another change of programme at the Royal Australian Circus to-night, and tomorrow afternoon a matinee for the benefit of families and children. The circus will appear at Hastings on Monday, at Waipawa on Tuesday and Wednesday, at Makatoka on Thursday, afc Woodville on Friday, and at Palmerston on Saturday. A special train will run from Waipukurau to Waipawa on Tuesday, returning after the performance. Messrs Monteith and Co.'s weekly produce sale will be held at the Horse Bazaar to-morrow at 11.30 a.m., and the stock sale at 1.30 p.m. Unless redeemed a bay yearling filly will be sold afc the Taradale pound to-morrow afc noon. A tea and public meeting in connection with tbe Wesleyan Church will be held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Hastings, on Wednesday evening next, when the Revs. Williams, Lewis, and others, will deliver addresses. The programme of the sports to bo competed for at the Friendly Societies fete afc Hastings on the Prince of Wales birthday is published. For the convenience of clients in the Petane, Wairoa, Mohaka, and coast districts, Messrs Hoadley and Lyon have arranged with Kinross and Co., Richardson and Co., Murray, Roberts and Co., F. W. Williams, and the New Zealand Shipping Company to receive consignments of produce &c, who will forward same without further charge for sale at the weekly auctions at the town wool stores. Mr H. Powdrell invites tenders for making about 28 chains of embankment afc Meanee. Messrs Monteith and Co. publish the catalogue of stock, &c, which they will submit to public competition on Friday, October 6 (the day after the Agricultural and Pastoral Society's annual show). MrR. H. Robinson is now showing new goods in all departments at tho Cheap Drapery Shop, Emerson-street. Messrs Holbel and Co., Port Ahuriri, are now daily expecting a cargo of drain pipes (assorted sizes). Messrs Blythe and Co. quote prices for new patterns in tapestry carpets. lodized sarsaparilla, prepared only by W. E. Woods, chemist, Napier and Hastings, is a compound for cleansing and purifying the blood. A number of new advertisements will be found in our " Wanted" column.
