Canterbury v. New South Wales,
(By Telegraph.) Chbistchurch, September 22. The above match was played yesterday in Hagley Park in the presence of between 2000 and 3000 spectators. Tbe weather was fiae and warm, with occassional strong breezes. The pame, which was contested in two spells of fortyfive minutes each, was very fast, and resulted in a victory for the visitors by one goal and a try to one try.
