Highway Board Notices. N OTIC E. The following Petition is published for the information of the Ratepayers of the Okawa Highway District. To the Chairman and Councillors of the Hawke's Bay County Councl. GENTLEMEN- We, the undersigned, Ratepayers in the Okawa Highway District, do hereby most respectfully petition your Honorable Council to abolish the said Okawa Highway District, and to declare the said District to be merged into the County in conformity with the provisions of Sections 37, 38, and 39, of the Counties Act; And your Petitioners will ever pray, etc. John Bennett Wm.
