The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report, under date London, September 4th, as follows of tbe London wool market: —Competition is increasing, and the market is decidedly firmer. Fine cross-breds have advanced _to Id per lb. 93,000 bales have been sold up to date, of which 46,000 bales have been taken for export.
(BY CABIE.) London, September 4. Consols remain at par. New Zealand securities are unchanged. Adelaide wheat has declined 6d, and is quoted _to-day at 40s, ex-store; Adelaide flour is unchanged at 35s ; New Zealand wheat, ex-warehouse, 46s to 40s. Australian tallow best beef 45s 6d, and best mutton 46s 6d.
