TAURANGA.

A native named Tawbinga was drowned at Ohinemutu on Monday night. He went into a hot bath on the edge of Lake Itotorua, and apparently fell asleep, being found drowned on the following morning. Soon afterwards a Maori woman was found drowned in the hot bath near the post office under similar circumstances.
