Telegrams are to hand from Tunis announcing that the rebel Arab tribes continue to show active hostility to the French troops throughout the country, and frequent skirmishes are taking place with the enemy!
The Bey has sent a communication to the Powers protesting against what he understands to be the intention of France to occupy Tunis.
