I have examined the Samplh of M'Ewin's Bottled Alk submitted to me, and find that it contains - Alcohol by weight, 5 - 40 per cent; or by volume, 6 - 55 per cent. Extractive matter, 306 per cent.; Acid matter, 0 - 17 per cent. I have also examined the Ale for such deleterious ingredients as are sonielim-is p.dded to Beer, and have found no indication of t'leiv presence.
