LONDON. July 21. The Union Bank has declared a dividend at the rate of 7 per cent, for the past half year. A strong movement is being made to organise a public banquet to tbe members of the Cabiuet, as an expression of the gratitude of the Liberals at the policy of the Government. The Daily News to-day publishes a telegram from Lahore announcing that Ayoub Khan's troops have inflicted a defeat upon the Ameer's outposts in Candahar.
