(Renter's Telegrams.)
SYDNEY. July 21. The gentleman who has made a donation of £5000 to the Universities for bursaries [for poor students is Mr Thomas Walker, of Yaralla, and not Mr P. B. Walker, Assistant Superintendent of Telegraphß, as previously telegraphed. No fresh cases of small-pox have occurred in the city since the 15th instant. The vessels comprising the detached squadron, except the Bacchante, leave on Saturday for Auckland.
