demand
In the House of Commons this evening the "consideration of the Irish Land Bill was resumed. In the course of the debate the Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone made a speech, in which he said the Government attached its fortunes to the bill, and would strenuously oppose any amendments which might be proposed affecting the principles of the measure as introduced.
