February, 28—Albion, s.s., from Northern ports. Passengers—Mesdames Liddle, Brown, oLunds, Collins, M'Lean, Tathaxn, and Harris ; Misses Rich, Yates, and Henryand ; Mr and Mrs P. Dinwiddie, Mr and Mrs J. Chambers; Messrs Anderson, Hamilton, Liddle, Close, Thomas, Beamish, Jerram, Owen, Creighton, Banbury, Fulton, Brown, Collins, Flood, Ryiner, H. C. Wilson, Large, South, Tatham, Gunn, Hustings, Malauny, and MTvor ; and 12 in the Bteerage.

February. 28—Albion, s.s. for Southern ports. Passengers—Mr and Mrs White and child, Mr and Mrs Brown and 6 children; Captain Tozer; and Messrs G. T. Cross, Wall, Fernandez, Hayes, Howden, Munett, and Callcott. i
The following is the report of the s.s Albion's passage kinrily furnished us by her purser, Mr W. B. Jones : —Left Auckland oi: the 25th ultimo at 7 p.m., and arrived at Gisborne on the 26th at midnight; left on the 27th at 6 p.m., and arrived here as above. Experienced fair average weather as far as Giisborne, thence a strong S. gale, accompanied -with rain squalls and ivory heavy sea, which compelled her to hove-to at the entrance of the bay from Sunday night to Monday forenoon. The outward passengers were token off in the launch Boojum at 3.30 p.m., and the steamer resumed her voyage Bhortly after 5 p.m. for Southern ports. The s.s. Sir Donald went out to take the inward cargo, but was unable to lay alongside. Shipping at the Spit is at a stand still today, the lightere being unable to get out to the ships in the Bay, and the small steamers aro waiting for the sea to go down before proceeding to Wairoa and the coast.
