ARRIVALS.
February. 16 —"Boojum, s.s., from Wairoa. Tasseng' ers —Eev. J. Spear, Messrs Cato, Gold' finch, J. Cowper, and J. Wirne.
The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Capt' J. Mabbett, returned i'roni the Wairoa at 7 o'clock this morning, after a twelve and ahalf hours passage from Wairoa against a strong southerly wind and rough sea. The departure of the steamers Sir Donald and Fairy for the coast lust night was postponed owing to the southerly wind coming Kip. The s.s. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, is to leave Wellington for here at 4 o'clock this afternoon, and may be looked for on Thursday night, sailing for Wellington again on Sunday. The ketch Venus left Mercury Pay for Napier last Thursday with a load of kauri timber consigned to Mr H. R. Gunn. The schooner Gleaner has left Greymouth with a cargo of coal for tho Napier Gas Company.
