The Hon. Mr Rolleslon and here lagt evening with his escort, Colonel Reader, Colonel Roberts, and Major Parr. He leaves again to-day. Not a single application for the Parihaka land was made at any place yesterday, the day for sending in applications for all allotments on deferred payments. The high price put on the land, and its close proximity to Te Whiti, is said to be the cause of no attention being drawn to it.
