Si M\JiJir\\'s Church was blight with iloweis tiiul texts yestciday. The altar, iont and lectern being .specially dccoiated. Over the altar was the inottoj" Christ is Risen," and above the ■window, in the apse, "Alleluia," "Kings of Kings," "Lord of Louis. ' The services, especially in the evening, were crowded. There weie t l.~>3 communicants at the two morning sci vices, and the ottcrtones during the day amounted to above £20. In the afternoon thei e was an Eastei service for children, which was enteied into "heart and soul" by the young ones. The pieacher in the morning was the Rev. It. Burrows, and in the evening the Uev. l\. S. Hassard, who took for his textftt John xx, verse 19. At .St. Paul's. Church, in the morning, there was a very large congregation, the Kcv. C. M. Nelson officiating and preaching an excellent sermon. The altar was decoiatcd m ith flowers and evergreens, formed in the shape of a cross and crown, and the woids sui mounted the windows "Clnist is risen Irom the dead." The lectei n was also decorated with flowers, and over the \estiy window were the words "My house is the house of pi.iyer." The musical poition of the seivice was efficiently rendered by a, full choir under the direction of the organist, Mi A. Livingstone.
